I think that more and more men are now learning that we have to simplify, not complicate.
It’s a very Asian idea – that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. The development of the Apple Mac illustrates this idea.
John Sculley, the former chairman of Apple Computer put it this way:
“No amount of research would have created the demand for the Macintosh, but once we created it and put it in front of people, everybody recognised it as something they wanted.”
The genius of Apple would be impossible without the innate complexity of stuff produced by Microsoft.
